Yoga Journeys

Yoga has become synonymous with wellness!  People from all walks of life are turning to yoga for its many benefits.  We can find flexibility, strength, mindfulness, and recovery at the top of the list of reasons to practice regularly.  

To me, yoga is an intimate journey into the Self.   Our world demands our constant attention, often leading us away from ourselves and our deep authenticity.  Yoga teaches us to slow down.  To seek balance.  To BE, rather than to do.  A body and mind always in motion misses the opportunity for true intimacy.  Connecting to ourselves on our mats is a wonderful way to open us up to our spirituality, whatever that means to you.  With regular practice we clear away the noise and debris, and are more available to listen.  

I teach many “styles” of yoga with the intention of teaching students to listen more closely.  I ask students to show up with an attitude of curiosity.  When we learn to work with our nervous system, our bodies unfold in a truly beautiful way. Our time on the mat becomes more meaningful and we can take what we discover back into the world.
